Winners are grinners, and the Venuemob team is DEFINITELY grinning this morning! We took home the Best Product or Service gong at the Australian Event Awards 2017, and we couldn’t be happier, or prouder of our kick-ass team.
Held at the Events Centre in Caloundra, the 2017 edition of the Australian Event Awards was a lavish and spectacular affair. At least, that’s what it seemed like from our vantage point here in sunny (read: freezing) Melbourne!
Streaming the event live, our team sent all-caps congratulations to each other via our Slack channels – you’d better believe there was some emphatic high-five gifs to scroll through. Our Head of Corporate Business Development Victoria, had recorded a message earlier that day in the event that we might win, but nothing really compares to the moment when you realise it’s actually happened, right?
First up, we’d like to thank the Australian Event Awards for the honour, and to give a shout out to all of the other National Finalists.
Secondly, here’s to our incredible team! Venuemob has grown from a team of three with an idea into a nationwide venue booking platform boasting almost 30 staff. Our posse of events experts, content producers, developers, and corporate business development wizards is a truly incredible team.
But you know what? We wouldn’t be killing it without the 3000+ venue partners we work alongside – they host the events that come through the Venuemob platform, showing our customers an incredible time. Thanks all!
