#VenuemobVIP: Rooftop Runway

A rooftop bathed in a golden autumn sunset, a pool glittering beneath the sun, and excited guests, salt-crusted margarita in hand, ready for a one-of-a-kind runway event. The #VenuemobVIP Rooftop Runway was an experience that had guests whipping out their phones, flooding their feeds with incredible high-end looks, delicious food, and stunning scenery from The Pool Deck.

Dotted around the expansive rooftop space, guests sipped on margaritas and snacked on custom made noodle boxes, gearing up for an evening of fun and bright runway looks. As guests relaxed into the blissful setting, a team of models, stylists and one very talented makeup artist were efficiently prepping for the beginning of the main event.

Makeup artist Penelope Costan from NYX Cosmetics created a fresh and dewy glow on the models.

Merry Hoang, Co-Founder of Vestrr, a service that allows customers to hire high-end outfits for affordable prices, was adding final stylistic touches. With stunning outfits from Zimmermann, Nookie, Dion Lee, For Love and Lemons, Acler and Talulah, few additions were needed.

As the golden hour hit its peak, it was time for the rooftop runway to take full flight. One by one, the models happily strutted down the runway, striking a pose, injecting their own fun personality into each moment.

An emerald green pleated dress from Acler swept around model Yolisa’s frame, creating a very cool billowing effect.

Leslie then hit the stretch in a linen, paisley-printed shirt dress from Zimmermann. Effortlessly cool and pretty, it was the perfect blend of stylish and comfortable.

Also wearing Zimmermann, model Nicha practically glided down the runway. This floral, maxi linen dress with button details was one of the most romantic looks of the night (and garnered a lot of attention.)

Next up, Rachel swished her way to the front in a white, gently pleated dress from Dion Lee. This look was all about movement, with the model literally taking the dress for a spin.

For the final looks for the runway, it was all about bright colours, fun prints and summery shapes – the perfect looks to complement the ambiance of the rooftop Pool Deck.

Pretty in pastel pink, Yolisa sported a For Love and Lemons mini crop top and skirt set. In her rose-gold tinted shades, she looked like she’d just stepped off the cover of magazine. Heading out in the same designer, Nicha sported a look that added an element of monochrome to the evening. With its one shoulder ruffle strap and heart prints, it was a cute and flirty addition.

Rachel then emerged in a new look from Talulah – a bold printed A-line dress that heralded the start of autumn, whilst celebrating the end of summer.

And to round out the runway, stepping out in a two piece jumpsuit with a hint of ‘70s flair, Leslie rounded the corner in a stunning number from Nookie.

The girls looked incredible, and the outfits drew plenty of snaps and coveting sighs.

But with the runway finished, it was time for the party to kick on. Guests snapped selfies and scenery shots, hashtagging #VenuemobVIP in the chance to win an incredible goodies box, brimming with makeup, a voucher for Trophy Wife Nail Art and Turkish towels from House of Indigo.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the night began to slip into that chilled-out phase, where everyone is happy to relax, kick back with a couple of drinks and take in the scenery.

#VenuemobVIP flooded Instagram, but with her series of shots showcasing the venue, and the stunning setting, Helen Reizer took home the enviable goodie bag.
