La Di Da is a modern public house that seems to do a little bit of just about everything. Burlesque, dance floor, dining, cocktails and all manner of functions; they do it.
All red, plush walls, chesterfields and checkerboard dance floor, La Di Da is a sprawling feast for the senses, while managing to remain well clear of the realm of “cluttered”. That’s no mean feat, considering how much is going on here. There’s a cocktail bar, a private dining space, an outdoor courtyard, a nightclub, as well a myriad of smaller spaces available to host small groups of larger posses. There’s also a dedicated private function room available for hire as a function venue. La Di Da is the kind of place that could host a corporate function, a sit-down dinner, a burlesque performance, a hens’ night, as well as be the springboard for a clubbing night out with friends. The personality of the space is slightly decadent and sophisticated. It does get quite clubby on weekends.
La Di Da is situated right in the heart of Melbourne’s bustling CBD, on Little Bourke Street, near the corner of King Street. The closest train station is Southern Cross.
